Can't imagine getting it done in nine days!
I find it baffling how many people online are acting like Israel controls the U.S. It does not.
But it's such an old-fashioned word!
Screenshot of the Pixel Weather app's 10-day forecast; only seven days, including today, are showing. All temperatures are in Fahrenheit. Editor's notes may be slightly hyperbolic. Today March 12th: high 88Β°, low 61Β°, βοΈ full sun, 10% chance of precipitation (editor's note: where??). Friday the 13th: high 91Β°, low 59Β°, βοΈ "cloudy" (editor's note: it will probably be partially overcast for a minority of the day), 10% chance of precipitation. Saturday 14th: high 79Β°, low 57Β°, βοΈ full sun, 10% chance of precipitation. Sunday 15th: high 79Β°, low 56Β°, β partly cloudy (editor's note: this means that there will be any clouds in the sky at all), 10% chance of precipitation. Monday 16th: high 85Β°, low 60Β°, βοΈ full sun, no precipitation expected. Tuesday 17th: high 89Β°, low 63Β°, βοΈ full sun Wednesday 18th: high 88Β°, low 64Β°, βοΈ full sun, no precipitation expected.
Wherever you live: "winter's going out with a bang, baby."
Los Angeles: "welcome to summer bitch, hope you already have AC"
When does an orb-burger become a variety of dumpling?
Need clarification on "spherical bun," though. Possible approach: scaled-up, savory oyaki/poffertje/Γ¦bleskive (not a true bun). Maybe baking dough around a mold, then joining the two semicircles during assembly.
I'd be content rolling out some white bread and sticking it on there like a cake pop.
...this is actually kind of ringing a bell. I feel like someone did something like this, either fictionally, or in a YouTube video.
Maybe I could give it a go. Granted, I don't eat most of the usual toppings and the burger will be meatless and cheeseless, but I can try...?
I don't have a spare room, let alone an attic, but I'm amenable to the idea of harboring people in my apartment as long as they help me declutter it enough to fit them here.
@ people who have incredibly niche jobs: write your stories I'm begging you
Industries must share their secrets! What is the official job title? What are the tools of the trade? Who developed this art form?? There's history hidden there and I need to know it!!
Why the hell isn't there anything on Wikipedia about this
Sorry, what? The who??
Once again, I implore:
Figured this out as a kid when I tried to dissolve spoonfuls of sugar into room temp water. (Don't remember why; possibly one of my many kitchen "experiments." RIP my parents' spice cabinet)
A woman in a relationship with a man who's not a feminist? I call that internalized misogyny.
It doesn't make any more sense in context π
FWIW, the stations I often go to in WeHo are ~$5 or less.
Indeed, that's City Hall in the background (and the 33 bus to Union Station). This Chevron is at 901 Alameda Street.
Their current prices aren't shown on Maps or Gas Buddy, but a Shell a couple blocks away is less than $7 (I know, still too high)
I'm unreasonably annoyed that another person quote-skeeted an accusation of this being machine-generated. IT'S REAL AND IT'S SPECTACULAR
he would be the kind of vegan that carnists find insufferably self-righteous.
Dewey is the most likely candidate; by far the most compassionate (citation: s3e6 "Health Scare") and willing to help the less fortunate.
Jamie and the next kid: undetermined.
Maybe we'll see next month!
The question now is, which kid would go vegan?
Francis might eat plant-based just to impress a girl (before he was married) or to piss of Lois.
Reese is mildly sadistic, so probably not.
Malcolm would have to get over his desire to be normal, and if he did...
Off-topic: I can imagine Lois not necessarily minding one or more of the boys going vegan, but being unwilling to make separate food or alter her meal plan to accommodate. Thankfully, Reese might see the new diet (whether it's a brother's or his own) as a culinary opportunity.
You know that's annoying? Having to carefully maneuver your clothes out of the drum so you don't get soap (in a scent you don't like) on them right after they've been rinsed clean.
Yeah, not sure I would trust them with a grill.
I would rather my apartment building's outdoor common area have a grill, where I could do it more efficiently (hotter) and safely (ventilation).
A few neighbors would probably leave it a mess though. Some of these people leave their dryer lint and splashes of detergent on the laundry machines.
My biggest problem with hiring people for help is that I don't trust them to actually do a good job (why the trust issues??). Especially because I'm the type of person who, when I *am* dissatisfied with a service I've paid for, will almost never complain to the purveyor.
There are a lot of things that I'm not willing to pay someone else to do, so I either do them poorly or not at all. (PB&Js > food delivery.)
One thing I would be willing to pay someone for is seasoning carbon steel cookware. God I hate doing it. Too much heat and smoke!
Aha, I looked into it after replying and it appears that the then-new person in charge who was responsible for hiding everything (including intentional donations!!) has since been replaced! Back on the bucket list π
As someone who grew up co-learning Spanish but was never as good with it as I was with English, and can barely string a sentence together anymore: the secret is in the consonants π€ if you're familiar with IPA and phonetics, it's helpful to study the differences in how certain letters are pronounced
