Maybe Trump is the exit dose this whole fucked-up system needed? It’s like chemotherapy — the poison ALMOST kills the system but out of that chaos comes the death of the cancer? If this tears apart MAGA *and* neoliberalism then go man go.

I’ve been saying this so much of late. Empathy and imagination are joined when we are immersed, and allow us to be another age or color or gender; feel a different desire. Bad art makes it harder, but lack of imagination or empathy in a reader is worse.

Or, screw it, AI for everything as long as the social safety net becomes solidly foundational. UBI, medical coverage for all, etc. The oligarchs want AI but the only way to pay for the benefits the lower & middle class need is by taxing the rich and huge corps. I’ll take slop if work is optional
