this was as a regular attendee, no special seating, showing up just in time. having a lottery for a spot in the merch queue may seem overkill, but I spent six hours of my life waiting in a very similar situation some years ago, so... I'd rather just be told no in advance.
I'm still convinced I hate anything beyond a capacity of about 2000, but have finally witnessed a bigger location do everything right logistically. mad respect to pia MM arena and the event crews, I barely waited for 5 minutes at any point. merch, entrance, cloak, toilets, everything.
please look at the hole they're digging where the jonathan's used to be. also, this is my favorite sign at the supermarket.
