Are you a comic creator living in Scotland? Submit your comic to be part of the Scottish Comics Itch Bundle! How does it work? All the comics will be part of a big downloadable bundle for sale on itch.io. 25% of profits will be given to PCRF or another charity supporting Palestine. The remaining profits will be split equally between all participants. Your cut is sent to your account automatically; it doesn't come through the organisers at all. Who can take part? Any comic creators who live in Scotland! If you live in Scotland but you aren't Scottish, you can still take part. If you are Scottish but you don't live in Scotland, you can't take part. What should I submit? Submit your favourite comic that you've done! You can only submit one comic. Please do not submit text-only zines.

Is this bundle curated? This bundle is only lightly curated, which means we're checking for racist, transphobic, homophobic, misogynistic, or otherwise hateful content. We want to celebrate as many comic creators in Scotland as we can, so this bundle is not otherwise curated and your submission will only be rejected if the file quality is unusually low. What is the timeline? Submissions are open until March 31st. If your comic is approved, you will hear back by April 30th. The bundle will go live in June! I have another question. American readers! Have you had to pay any tariffs or extra fees on books you've ordered from us or other UK creators? I'm pretty sure books have been tariff free, but I want to double check!

I'm pretty sure that the SENDER is the one responsible for paying those tariffs (and I haven't had to pay anything additional except Royal Mail's 50p bonus fee to do nothing but send to the US) but who knows.

Good question, collaborations/anthologies are fine! This point was meant to only cover IPs owned by companies or people who arent the creators working on the pitched project. I'll clarify this on the site in the morning.

Submissions open on Friday 8th May 2026 and close on Friday 31st July 2026 at 5pm BST (three months total). For full details on creator and project eligibility, read the page linked in the first post in this thread. Submissions will be reviewed by Eve Greenwood, Hari Conner, and Nyla Ahmad.

The Quindrie Comic Fund will consist of a shared £3,000 pot. UK-based creators can apply for up to £1,000 for a specific comic-related project or goal. Maybe you want to buy some comic-making supplies, pay for an editor, or print your webcomic; no comic project is too small.

Quindrie Press’ goal has always been to support the UK comic scene, so a large portion of our profit has always been bookmarked to pay creators for future projects. As Quindrie Press is closing down at the end of 2026, we want to ensure the bookmarked money still goes towards comic creators.
