my favorite activity in my local group on fb is to comment on posts by boomers about "kids these days" and encourage them to be kind and remember what it was like to be young. they hate it so much and it pisses them off soooo bad
Have not seen two of my kids since they went outside at 8AM, just the way a childhood should be. (This is hyperbole, every hour I shout ARE YOU ALIVE in to the circle and also they have to check in every other hour or if they move backyards)

My favorite new character of probably the last … year at least. Specific but not quirky, not perfect but incredibly kind, a picture of a competent professional who loves her work and also sees it as ultimately a path to living a good life. Driven by deep empathy.
