my favorite activity in my local group on fb is to comment on posts by boomers about "kids these days" and encourage them to be kind and remember what it was like to be young. they hate it so much and it pisses them off soooo bad

Have not seen two of my kids since they went outside at 8AM, just the way a childhood should be. (This is hyperbole, every hour I shout ARE YOU ALIVE in to the circle and also they have to check in every other hour or if they move backyards)
Surveillance state big tech bad yes but having my wallet attached to my keys attached to an AirTag has saved my ass soooooo many times
My favorite new character of probably the last … year at least. Specific but not quirky, not perfect but incredibly kind, a picture of a competent professional who loves her work and also sees it as ultimately a path to living a good life. Driven by deep empathy.
HBD TO THE MOST PERFECT GAL!!!!
My 7YOs:

It’s never the wrong time to watch my personal favorite of all ER episodes: “Exodus,” from season 4, in which Carter saves the ER after Mickey Rooney tells him it’s contaminated with benzene.
Literally JUST posted my planned watchalong of this episode! bsky.app/profile/nell...
Democratic Leaders Stand Real Still In Hopes No One Notices Them
It’s actually SO important that I be alerted any time somebody starts ER, thank you @kjeanveau.bsky.social

The Pitt reached a new creative high with this week's emotional episode, the midpoint of s1. I talked with Noah Wyle, creator R. Scott Gemill, and producer John Wells about what's made the Max hospital drama so great:
The Pitt needs to run me a check for my viewership campaign, if that’s too much they can also just send Noah to my house for a few hours (twist my arm)
One of my favorite fanfiction authors just posted an update to their story after TEN years, NEVER GIVE UP HOPE KIDS
This is about as good a review as I’ve ever seen from a professional about how their occupation is covered. He doesn’t expect perfect realism, but he seems to think they got a whole lot right that’s important. www.vulture.com/article/is-t...
McD have the BEST pickles, I see you
JUST sent your ‘best ER episodes’ piece to a friend who’s starting their journey at County General after getting hooked on The Pitt

Oh Bridget Jones, I love you. Thank you. What a lovely, lovely send off.
It is a CRIME that I don’t get to watch the new Bridget Jones in a movie theater
