Congratulations on 15 years!
I had a great time with @FYIFergYouths last month celebrating 15 years of empowering youth and transforming communities.
Iβm running to deliver for everyday people here, and Iβm ready to fight for tornado relief, investing in public housing and public transit, and creating a Medicare for All healthcare system.
We have so much work to do, and Iβm ready to go back to Congress to do it, just like I have before.
St. Louis came together to help those who were most affected, but the full recovery that needs to happen is far from complete. We need leadership that will fight for the federal funding that is necessary to rebuild after the disaster.
When a tornado came to St. Louis in May, I organized with my community to distribute essential supplies. Homes and businesses were devastated, five lives were lost, and many more were injured.
This is a movement that doesnβt move without you. Over the next five months, weβll win the representation that St. Louis deserves in Congress, and weβll do it together.
But this is just one step towards winning and delivering a healthier, safer, and more affordable St. Louis.
Between now and Election Day on August 4th, weβll build the momentum that we need to win through people power. That means knocking doors, phone banking, and pitching in however else you can.
After we went to Jefferson City to put my name on the ballot, we rallied together with allies from across the state who are fighting for everyday people, protecting our reproductive freedom, and standing up to Donald Trumpβs fascist agenda.
Last month, I officially filed to run for Congress β and I brought the movement with me.
I was honored to join the CLUW Metro St. Louis Chapter yesterday at the Women of Many Hats Brunch to celebrate women of the labor movement.
It was beautiful to hear from those doing the important work here in the St. Louis area to fight for what workers, our families, and our children deserve.
Happy #InternationalWomensDay, St. Louis!
As we spend today celebrating the achievements of women, we recommit ourselves to fighting for a world where all women are able to thrive.
Itβs on us to carry on the work of past generations to build a future free from all forms of gender discrimination.
Iβm running for Congress to keep fighting for St. Louis. Iβve never been afraid to take the lead on the issues that matter: Medicare for All, reproductive rights, and so much more.
St. Louis deserves everything, and they deserve better than the representative they have right now.
@democracynow.org
Weβre told thereβs never enough for housing, recovery, or care.
Yet thereβs always money for bombs.
This is what happens when profit is prioritized over people.
Iβm running to ensure that our tax dollars go towards the care and education that people need at home, not war or genocide overseas.
as this kind of hateful, anti-Muslim rhetoric only serves to divide us.
Here in St. Louis, we know that our differences are what make our community great, not something to fear. I will always stand with members of our Muslim communities against Islamophobia and hatred.
I am thankful that the Islamophobic sign that was displayed outside Life Church in Ballwin has been removed, and as a Christian, I am disgusted and disappointed by the hatred and bigotry that motivated it.
This sign never should have been up in the first place,
Trumpβs economy doesnβt work for everyday people.
I will always stand with nurses.
At the same hospital where I worked as a registered nurse, we came together to demand fair wages and safer working conditions for healthcare workers. Iβm proud to stand with NNU as we call out ICE for what it is: one of the countryβs top public health threats.
This is exactly what we have come to expect from one of the most corrupt Presidential administrations in US history. Trump and his buddies keep getting richer while the American people suffer.
One down, an entire administration of MAGA fascists to go.
Presence without courage isnβt power.Β
No more settling for access without real action.Β
No more silence for the sake of comfort.Β
Weβre done acting like being in the room is the reward.Β
Weβre here to change it.
Iβll be on the Breakfast Club talking about why Iβm running for Congress to continue fighting for St. Louis.
π Primary Election: August 4, 2026
Iβm so honored to be a part of @justicedemocrats.comβs incredible slate of 2026 candidates.
Too often, even allies fall in line when crumbs are offered.
I wonβt.Β
Iβm here for the people who are hungry today. The seniors rationing insulin. The kids without clean water.Β
Justice isnβt crumbs from the table. Itβs choosing communities over comfort, every time.
From local fights to global justice, this movement never looked away.
Climate justice. Public utilities. Housing as a human right.Β
When our neighbors called, we showed up.
Thatβs why Iβm so proud of the work weβve done. Humanity is always worth it.
Happy Lunar New Year! β¨
May the Year of the Fire Horse be filled with lasting health, joy, and abundance for you and yours.
Ramadan Mubarak to all our Muslim neighbors, in St. Louis and beyond.
May this sacred time bring strength, nourishment for the soul, and space for a renewed sense of hope for you and yours. π
Happy Valentineβs Day, St. Louis!
ICE is ending their operation in Minnesota. This is only the first step. We need to abolish ICE, investigate the murders committed by federal agents, and hold President Trump, Steven Miller, and Kristi Noem accountable. The families of Renee Good and Alex Pretti deserve justice.
We need to see every single thing from the Epstein files. The wrongdoing must be made public, and Congress must keep fighting to ensure there are consequences.
The survivors deserve nothing less than true accountability and justice.
Happy birthday, Rosa Parks. Her bravery, resilience, and strength inspire us to keep fighting injustice, now more than ever.
Today, we remember her words: βNever be fearful about what you are doing when it is right.β
