So the president said he won’t sign any bills until the SAVE Act is passed.

Okay.

Anyone with HS level education and paid attention in civics class should know the president can sit on a bill for 10 days - when Congress is in session - and without any action it automatically becomes law.

Me too but the only way to do that is to comb through the voting rosters and compare them to past voting records. That’s some meticulous work.

Different election, different time.

So is there legitimate Democratic enthusiasm? It is possible.

The only time Democrats had this high of a turnout in recent memory for Lubbock County was in 2008. Then, it was operation chaos as normally GOP primary voters crossed-over to the Dem primary to vote for Hillary Clinton. That year, Dems had 24,000 participants in its primary.

Just an FYI of the primary voting turnout for Lubbock County:

46,062 combined voters.

30,436 chose the GOP primary.
15,626 chose the Dem primary.

66% of primary voters in Lubbock County chose the GOP primary, whereas 34% chose the Dem primary.
