Not a bad day throwing on the wheel today! I’m getting more and more comfortable centering larger masses of clay, these were 3 and 2.5 lb. I’m leaving a lot of weight in the bottom of the vessel still, and I should be able to get my walls thinner with more practice. Obligatory Pottery Cat! #pottery

Every time my library gets a new ink drum it’s like a holiday. We just picked up fluorescent orange! We’ve also got green, crimson red, black, cornflower blue, flo pink, and sunflower yellow

Have you gotten the chance to try out a roller printer like a Risograph? It’s a Japanese printer with soy-based inks. Gets you that really authentic zine/ poster/ comic book look! The flaws and imperfections give each individual print a lot of character

It’s never about protecting victims. It’s always about control. And it never stops.
Censorship is a comfortable lie. It *feels* like something is being done to fix the issue. Instead, it is denying you your right to access information. And porn is an easy way for them to keep denying more access. What is porn? They get to define that now.
Censoring pornography does nothing to stem the tide of misogyny from other mainstream media or world leaders. Access to information is not to blame in a culture whose leaders teach men to see women as non-human enough to choke them during sex without asking for consent, or stopping when they say no
Censorship does not fix the problem of poor global sex education. When we do teach about consent, it by nature includes the reciprocal; what happens when someone *does not* consent. Censorship does not stop violators, nor does it protect a victim who doesn’t know they’re being violated #consent
