New: We've added a simpler view to collection and record pages for those that just want to look at the data. This changes the scope of data that is fetched, so these views should be a little faster than the rich view.
Update π: We've unified our search into a single input. Results across all types will now show in a single list, no more dropdown to select type.
@atexplore.social also supports this.
You can create records from the user dropdown menu.
Create is now live!

Thereβs been some improvements recently, but speed isnβt where it needs to be at the moment. Itβs definitely a focus area.
OAuth is now live with support for editing and deleting records. Create is coming very soon.
We've added support for replies on record pages. Now when you're viewing a post, you can see a threaded view of the conversation. This just works on Bluesky posts, but we'll expand this to more lexicons and ActivityPub posts.
Weβve pushed some additional updates to our ActivityPub support. Tags now work, and you can click through to the tagged userβs profile page. Weβve also migrated another batch of components to our new design system. Check it out!
Posts? Documents? Why not both? (Blogs too!)
ICYMI β you can publish *Looseleafs* β standalone Leaflets with all our atproto social features :)
Make a new doc instantly at leaflet.pub/new
Publish to a blog, publish as Looseleafβ¦or just share the view/edit link, like a gdoc!
i'm pretty excited about this β with HTTP imports, you get typed lexicon codegen from nsid directly in your @val.town vals
Today weβve expanded support a bit more. ActivityPub posts should now show engagement numbers, we added support for boosted posts, and the view data modal that we have for AT Protocol posts is now available on ActivityPub.
You can access ActivityPub profiles through the bridge switcher.
Today, we rolled out beta support for ActivityPub posts. Weβre still working toward full support, so expect additional updates soon.
Weβre changing the design system weβre using, so youβll start to see some changes to UX. Weβre starting small and will make incremental changes.
Support for @standard.site documents, publications, and subscriptions is now live! This is an extension of the @leaflet.pub support we added last year. Lets us know if you see any issues.
We also updated the look of ActivityPub profile pages to better match AT Protocol profiles.
A small update: ActivityPub profile pages for verified bridged accounts will now display a verified badge. We also recently added a new verification modal for users and handles.
This is awesome! Weβll update our implementation to support this.
We pushed some updates today that should make the app feel much faster. Thereβs still a few more performance improvements weβre working on.
Weβre working on improving search by expanding the types of data you can search across. In addition to users, you can now search Lexicons! We plan to continue expanding search to include other types of data as well.
A dark-themed interface displays a list of backlink sources with counts, including Bluesky (6), Leaflet (7), community.nooki (8), io.whiteside (30), sh.tangled (2), and store.lexicon (19), with a search bar and collapsible dropdowns. A small label at the bottom says βBuilt by whiteside.io.β
Small update: the Backlinks tab now has the same UX as the Collections tab. This makes browsing backlinks a bit easier.
OAuth is coming very soon to AT Explore!
A small update: Weβve added a new way to quickly jump between collections in a repo. Press Cmd/Ctrl + K to open a new modal for switching between collections.
We've made it easier to view schemas Now when you open the menu on a post, you have an option to view schemas straight from a record! You can also click into any schema that is linked to it.
I got auth hooked up in the @atexplore.social MCP, and have been testing creating, updating, and deleting records with it. I need to do some more testing before fully releasing it.
A couple more new changes are now live! π
- User's Collections are now sorted by identifiers so all the Bluesky, Leaflet, etc.. records will be sorted together.
- The data view now has a better UX for viewing JSON. You can also easily copy the record data!
We made a small change to the bridged profile switcher. Now when you click to switch to the bridged profile, youβll see an explainer about @ap.brid.gy . You can permanently dismiss this message.
