The book was well done. It starts with a secret interview between the exastronaut, who is suffering from the effects of time traveling, and the writer. Then it delves into the astronaut’s narrative.

Sorry! So the author has always presented himself as a journalist, delving deep into religious mysteries or UFO stories. He presented the book as a story "based on real events", the account of an American astronaut who travels back in time, meets Jesus, and witnesses the last week of his life.

In J. J. Benitez' book, Jesus' dialogues were the parts that rang true to me and made me look deeper into the story. Like I said, I almost started believing in time travel.

I don't think the importance of encouraging creativity during our leisure time is emphasized enough. It is therapeutic as well as relaxing.

Thankfully, even though the first Spanish translation of the UB was published in the 90s, some readers noticed the similarities and posted online. I ran across their comments on online forums when I was trying to find more about Benitez's book. I very nearly started believing in time travel!

Like many other Spanish readers, I found it through a science fiction book called "Caballo de Troya" by J. J. Benitez. Although the author now admits that the Urantia Book was "one of many sources", the Jesus in the story, his dialogues, are ripped from the UB pages.

That must have been a very rich experience indeed! I persevered through my first read on my own, with a lot of doubts and fears. I am now very thankful that the Spirit kept fanning my curiosity and thirst for truth. I cannot deny the spiritual experience that took place while reading it.

Yes, Urantia is a very unique sphere and events without precedent have taken place here. The planet will not be left to its own destruction. But as to the manner and time of each intervention, I can't speculate. Unfortunately, I do not have the connections the wise men from 2K years ago had. :P

It may yet look very dark for a while. Many people are still undecided, but eventually they will have no option but to make a choice. As to a divine response, I don't think there will be global one unless the wold itself is in danger, but I do think there is divine work behind many changes of heart.

It may very well be that. As busy and overwhelming as modern life is, with so many distractions, it may take these types of crises for people to reflect deeply about what they see and hear. We are seeing people rethink their alliances and others are showing their true colors.
