this season in a way brings back a lot of conventions from previous seasons that weren't used in a while which i appreciate :)

last week's precure was so good. i really appreciate character development. usonoir is also much more intimidating villain than usual for modern precure, don't remember the last time when the main antagonist actually threatened to kill one of his subordinates and almost did just that.

man pokopia actually looks pretty cute. the first pokemon game in ages i kinda want to try and its on a console i dont have, rip

worth remembering, David Lynch directed “fix your hearts or die” specifically at transphobes. it wasn’t a generic “no mean people allowed” statement, it was said by his Twin Peaks character in defense of a trans woman he cared for and deeply respected.

they were held back by being in the games with least developed stories, but adaptations took advantage of them at least.

also kinda wild to hear that pokopia has like. a plot. i thought its just pokemon minecraft animal crossing game

this is why they are still some of my favorite evil teams in the series (besides the fact that they spawned team rocket quartet). their evil schemes are deeply entrenched in everyday lives of people and show that the world of pokemon is not quite as idealistic and hides some nasty corruption

i love when japanese devs use english words sometimes because its often for the vibe rather than any deeper meaning

this is a drawing im happiest with in a while. its rather simple but i think it came out rather well and i didn't feel like years of my life were taken away while i was doing it lol

it doesn't look terrible but i wouldn't say they pulled off the style amazingly

rtdx's style is a good experiment and im glad they are finally doing more interesting visual differences between games now but i hope they will do more of that in the future

im gonna do another wart drawing but imma be real it just makes me wanna do more self indulgent dedede drawings instead because. if not me then who else will.

pulling off "hand-drawn" look with 3d models is no easy fit to do convincingly and appealingly, and they actually managed to do it. props for that.
