Happy Pokemon day I had a dream last night I beat the shit out of a random gamefreak executive for basically no reason

Anyway I hope the physical price of FRLG copies goes down after this they're making me pay $200 for games I think are "good"

Don't even get me started on how it does implement the new stuff, golbat trying to evolve every level and the hand of junichi masuda coming out of the screen to press the B button for me against my will like who the FUCK thought that was a good idea

I think the new stuff like the sevii islands is easily the coolest thing in those games, otherwise FRLG really struggles with its identity. It wants to be a 100% faithful remake even though there's new mechanics, new evolutions, new movesets for basically everything

FRLG being relevant reminds me when I was trying to decide which kanto remake I liked more (FRLG or Let's Go) so I replayed fire red and came to the harrowing conclusion that kanto is just kind of boring

saw I hit over 100 followers on here, went to check and I only counted like 30 or so idk how that works lol I just kinda assume most of the followers I get are bots anyway so its whatevs

4. ParaNorman

Had vague memories of this movie from when I was a kid, thought it would be a lot more crass/mean-spirited for some reason, pleasantly surprised how uplifting it was. Phenomenal animation too, some scenes had me forget I was watching stop motion

3. Iron Lung

Absolutely the best adaptation of a video game to film, kept me guessing what was gonna happen even as someone who played the game. Never felt like it went on too long, just the right length while retaining the tension throughout

Seeing everybody react to the nonbinary option in the new tomodachi life like its a new character in smash bros is so badass
