Exactly, so they can buy the best technical players. Mind it's a very tedious style of football designed to save energy.
If you notice, in a lot of games those teams play a really slow tempo with a lot less physical effort. Relies on having good technique on the ball. Howe has been trying to adopt this approach more but easier said than done.
He made such an important contribution with those run of goals in 2021 when he was on loan. Could have been relegated without them. Never forgotten!
