These two caught my eye because of how beautiful they are - one completely thriving and one totally derelict but both stunning.
I was in the city yesterday at about the time the fire started and it seemed for the most part somewhat under control.
Glasgow just now looking, ironically, even more like a film set than it normally does. Such a shame to lose such a huge part of the city.
Ah this is awesome! I'm not a Glasgower from birth but I've lived here for a few years now and I'm falling in love with the history of the place. Have you heard about the queer history of Queens Park? That took me down a long and winding rabbit hole.
Tomorrow marks a spectacular occasion as the red carpet is rolled out for the opening day of The Importance of Being Earnest! And if you’re lucky you might catch a glimpse of a certain Mr. Flay (not me, thankfully) gracing the stage in the lead role! Join us, won’t you?
White turreted house with a steep slate roof in the foreground, overlooking snow-dusted hills and dense pine forest in the Scottish Highlands under a pale winter sky.
Wide view of rugged Highland mountains covered in light snow, with rocky foreground terrain and soft winter light breaking through high cloud.
Snow-speckled moorland leading to a calm loch surrounded by rounded, snow-covered mountains beneath a vast, overcast Highland sky.
Just returning to Glasgow after a quick visit to the highlands to make arrangements for my mother-in-law’s sudden passing and we were blessed with such stunning weather that it almost feels like a gift from her. The beauty of this place will always astound me.

Booked for both. Will decide on the day. The toils of networking!
Damnnn, both on at the same time. How to choose?! 😭
Acid yellow business card with a smiley face outline at a slight angle on the front.
New batch who dis! Coming to a networking event near you. 🙂
A speaker holding a microphone stands in front of a screen at a Scottish Creative Network event. The slide behind her reads “WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS … CHECK IF THEY’RE TASTY, THEN MAKE THE MOST GODDAMN FRUITY TUTTY LEMONADES OUT OF THEM!” The audience is seated in the foreground, and the room has blue and wood-panelled walls.
Scottish Creative Network X Colour Theory mashup tonight providing the hottest pro tips from the best of the best as usual. 🍋🙌🏼
A calico cat stands near the foot of a neatly made bed with white bedding, looking directly at the camera with its mouth slightly open. Two white pillows rest against a dark headboard, and a textured grey blanket is draped across the bottom of the bed. A minimal, softly lit bedroom interior surrounds the scene.
The NOISE this little lady makes when she knows it’s bed time and we’re not being quick enough for cuddles.
Working with small businesses and independents on their projects is an absolute dream.
This is just a few that have let me play with their assets lately as it were. 👀
If you’re in need of a bit of graphic design, hit me up. My DM’s are open.

Tomorrow night I'll be at the Mindset, Momentum, Meaning event by the West of Scotland Networking group where they're talking about AI business tools, leaflet marketing power and how to support your ADHD staff.
Should be an interesting night. If you're attending and see me say hi!
And next week is kicking off with Mindset. Momentum. Meaning. A West of Scotland networking group event including a talk from my friend Kev about how to support your ADHD staff. His talk amongst the others will make for a really good evening of chat and networking!
Hopefully see a few of you there?
And then on Thursday this week was the Leading with Pride: LGBTQ+ Leadership and Changemaker Conference by Proud Futures. Absolutely incredible day of learning and networking amongst some of the most lauded LGBTQ+ leaders in the UK.
Also really enjoyed Nitty Gritty, INTL International’s event on Monday at The Pyramid in Anderston. Basically a panel discussion with some leaders in graphic design around the topic of what the fuck is going on in the Scottish design industry - literally, that was on the poster.
Had an amazing week. I think I’m getting somewhat close to actually enjoying networking. It’s hard not to at events like INTL International Assembly graphic design conference last week to be fair - and it helps that I won free tickets to the entire festival next year!

Autumn be autumning in Glasgow right now.
1 + 2 📍 Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow
3 📍 Queens Park, Glasgow
Roller coaster train cresting a vertical white steel track, full of riders with arms raised against a clear blue sky.
Large shark head sculpture made from scrap metal and corrugated sheets, surrounded by greenery in an amusement park.
Tall red drop tower ride framed by palm trees and steel coaster track, set against a bright blue sky.
Brightly painted water slide tubes in yellow, red, and blue, partially hidden behind a teal fence and leafy plants.
Spent the last two days being thrown around Thorpe Park on as many rollercoasters I think the body can physically withstand and it was EXCELLENT.
If you were a suspicious person you might be right. There are still some other gaping holes in Shortcuts in other areas too though that seem really obvious quick wins but year-on-year they're not implemented so who knows.
They weren't really doing much to look after the venue though in my opinion. The place felt desolate. Hopefully whoever takes over does a good membership deal AND actually makes the place feel nice.
Ah this is awesome. Is there a way that you know of to only clear the data for a particular Safari profile? I'd want to retain the data in one profile and not another.
Thanks Jamie! Got it and replied. Let’s do this! 🚀
Sure thing! Look forward to it.
@jamiebgall.co.uk That certainly sounds like something I can help with for sure! Could chat more over a Zoom / Google Meet? 🙂

Brazen Men’s Hair recently brought me in to create a landing page for their Academy Course, a bold new step in their journey, set to launch later in 2025.
It’s built to inform, inspire, and get future barbers signed up. The course might not be live yet, but the story starts here.

The Room Challenge was a brutal, brilliant little escape room on the high street in Fort William. When they needed a full design suite from flyers to social to print I locked in.

A person stands smiling at a Pride event, wearing glasses, a dark blazer, a white feather boa, and a “Pride” badge. They hold a cardboard sign that reads “GAYDHD - can’t even think straight,” with the letters in multicoloured text. Behind them is a stone building, and other people are visible in the background.
A crowd of people marches in a Pride parade through a city street lined with historic buildings. In the foreground, a large rainbow and lesbian Pride flag is partially visible. Many participants wear matching gold rugby shirts with “The Glasgow Raptors” logo, and black flags with the same branding are raised high. Signs reading “Trans Rights Now” and various other Pride symbols are held throughout the crowd. The background includes a “YO! Sushi” storefront and a packed street of celebrants.
A lively crowd marches through a city street during a Pride parade. At the front, people wear bright, expressive outfits - some with face paint, sunglasses, or mesh tops - celebrating openly. Behind them, a colourful float with rainbow banners and vertical flags reading “AXM” and “PIPEWORKS” is filled with cheering participants. Further back, the street is packed with marchers carrying Pride and LGBTQ+ flags. Historic buildings frame the background, and the atmosphere is festive and energetic.
A bustling Pride parade moves through a city centre flanked by historic and modern buildings. In the foreground, marchers carry large yellow and red “Scottish Socialist Party” flags, while others wave trans and rainbow Pride flags. Participants are wrapped in LGBTQ+ flags or dressed in festive clothing, with some capturing the moment on their phones. The scene is energetic and diverse, filled with solidarity and celebration. A bird flies overhead against an overcast sky.
A bit of dreich weather won’t stop these queers! #GlasgowPride
