Baby boy looking concerned, wearing a black gingham poplin shirt, and standing in front of some autumn leaves.
This kid is now in a band that has a meeting/recording session tonight with some music producers from NYC. Time is crazy. Also, watching your kid have success doing something they adore is wonderful. ♥️
In South Carolina, some parents embrace traffic signals, others opt out.
Same stupid idea.
IT ONLY WORKS IF WE ALL BUY IN.
I’m half Irish and endorse this post. Just shameful how people behave on this day/weekend.
Endure, we endure.
I saw a few sandhill crane today in Chicago, so, you know, day made. They are so elegant.

Black and white photo of a tree without leaves, taken from underneath and looking up.
Good morning.
This is why Ric Grenell is leaving at this moment, I think. He doesn’t want to be the fallout boy when Trump demos this national treasure and cultural center.

City parkway full of a long line of political yard signs.
Voted.
Oh dang. Poor tree, poor car.

Ugh, this is grim. Like, so grim.
Grotesque.
Dang!
So devastatingly grim.
Walter Jacobson was my first crush. ♥️
Jesus!
Grateful for any bit of shame these yahoos feel.

Color photo of father and daughter posing with a Waterford crystal decanter at a tourist spot. Daughter in her 20s with dark curls and glasses. Father in tan jacket with glasses. They are both smiling.
Went to the store today and the butcher behind the counter looked so much like my Dad. He’s been gone almost 11 years, so that felt sweet. Then sat to read my book while the meat was grilled (I’m lazy like that) and the chapter I started was about railroad work, which my Dad did for many years. 1/2
This was a great read, thank you.
Dems need to hammer this daily in addition to talking about the human global losses (life, infrastructure, goodwill, etc.) of this senseless war.
Huh . . . would love to hear a wardrobe take from the menswear guy.
I am having so many thoughts! This is simply glorious! But, for sure, I am not having enough parties; I am doing refrigeration wrong; and I for sure thought the lady in the opening sequence was going to be murdered.
