If you were thinking about any travel plans this year, I'd highly recommend booking flights now. Due to (recent events) airplane fuel is probably going to go up and flights as a result

Tried the Canadian DQ ‘Oreo Snowdrift’ blizzard flavor. It tasted… blue… and that’s the best way I can describe it.

As someone who tries to organize group meal trips at cons (I think this makes me some kind of masochist?), I feel this. Actually had to explain to someone once how restaurant reservations work, and, no, they aren’t valid for all times, just the one specified.

Woke up early this morning with some unusual abdominal pain, enough to warrant taking a sick day and hauling myself down to the walk-in clinic.

Fortunately doesn’t seem to be anything major, likely a stomach bug or mild food poisoning.
