because between my calls with my insurance, my grandmas insurance, and my grandmas healthcare network who i had to update her insurance info with, all three agents who picked up were three different guys with the same voice and the same accent. did they make you guys in a lab

can we all send a prayer for the fruity latino men with heavy accents that all end up in healthcare phone center jobs with the crackliest reception ive ever heard i cannot fucking hear them and i apologize for how many times i go "huh sorry?"

She's beginning to get demotivated and losing hope on if she'll be able to do this.

all this while i am still on fucking hold

my grandma has been to that same hospital multiple times in the last few years and it is the only hospital around for 25 miles and now theyre out of network so now she cant even fucking have an emergency

my grandmas whole hospital network her last pcp works at is now out of network
insurance said her old pcp's clinic is no longer taking adult patients
another clinic is also out of network
i think i am just about to fucking cry

even in network. no one from the hospital system my grandmas been going to for her entire time in the US is in-network now. so she got kicked off one pcp to another equally inelligible one
and everyone else in the area that we're trying is. not giving us good news even as im still on hold w united

we're trying. and it's going as badly as possible. they sent us a letter that her former pcp was no longer in-network. they were legally required to assign her a new pcp for her convenience. this pcp is not a primary care doctor even as stated by the people who work with him. i call united. hes not

i mean i dont know. no one had a say in this being set as the primary care doctor and united themselves dont even list him as in-network and the admin desk lady i spoke to from the very hospital he works at was baffled why he was assigned my grandmas primary care without her consent or input

so the pcp united just Assigned to my grandma doesnt even do primary care practice hes a fucking hospitalist

i cannot begin to describe how useless this is

there is nothing i could say about this experience that wouldnt put me on a domestic terrorist watchlist
