i think the last beta should have this fixed
i think the last beta should have this fixed
Yeah it just makes sense
CreateSignal can't handle async in v1. Plus you can't derive using a function
you dont actually need the refresh now that i think about it
and a mutation
What if subscribing to @convex.dev was this easy?!
Have you played with the beta yet? Thoughts?
I think actions ate basically a way to tie the update to a refresh
Yeah i think if you have lots of optimistic data a store is better
Im still getting my head around it a bit too
overall seems ok. I guess you don't need the async `action(async function*` cuz your not awaiting anything
let me take a look
The non-nullable async is so nice
Sorry to hear its not getting better. Always open for a chat if you need
Not the π₯ we hoped for, but still an incredible game. Well played Team USA. #gocanadago
Oh man
It's only been 3 days into the work week, but struggling into Friday.
did you find what you are looking for?
Yeah i guess my demos are more limited to client side apps as opposed to routing at the moment
Any solid 2.0 demos you'd like to see?
Got just the thing for you

π my recent contracts have ended (and my bufferβs running a bit thin) so Iβm looking for whatβs next
spent the last year focused on OSS work, which Iβve loved, and now open to new opportunities!
if youβre looking for a dev, pls to reach out!
I've shared more about how I work below π«‘
Made a trello clone using @solidjs.com 2.0

Congrats!!
I thought i knew Solid 2.0 pretty well but I'm still reaching for the wrong primitives sometimes
yeah I'm curious as to your thoughts
Some people were wondering how you could build additional pending affordances or do error handling on top of optimistic data. I'm not a designer but I think this updated demo shows the possibility.
Every action randomly fails 33% of the time.

I think thats their goal
You'd be smart to hire this guy
