Another update to the journey, with a focus on the highs and lows. I won't lie, sh*t ain't always sweet. I've been challenged in so many ways, but I'm halfway to one of my goals (graduation). Let's look back on this a year from now and see how far I've come, okay?

If you've been curious about AI, like me, I highly recommend this book:
AI Snake Oil by Arvind Narayanan & Sayash Kapoor.

I learned so much: what AI is, how it's used (properly & improperly), why it's such a big deal, actual issues that need out focus, ideas for improvement... it's so good

i think i'll always remain skeptical of politicians, but i'll take mamdani's aura over whatever the fuck maga is infested with

i think i've been watching a lot of mamdani's content b/c it's just...a breath of fresh air. literally. anything with trump & maga makes my chest tight 😣
watching mamdani connecting & interacting with people at a human level..this is what's been missing and it's nice to see

After talking in circles with people, I took a page from Huey and learned to enter discussions with an agreement of basic definitions. Cuz if we can't agree on what a word like abuse means, how are we gonna productively talk about justice for victims of abuse?
