a snippet of my writing from an upcoming piece of BTS RPF fanfiction. Body text reads: Jeonggukโs wolf sings like it never has as he runs out of the woods with his kill slung over his shoulders, chest heaving, the remains of blood in his mouth tasting like victory and hope. It had been a long day, but a good one, crowned by the dance of starlight that had raced through the woods to meet them and had lit their path home. Before him stands the witch, robes pale in the near-full moon, stars scattered over his cheeks and the bridge of his nose and brighter than the moon overhead in Jeonggukโs vision. โYou hunted well,โ Jimin whispers, and the words stretch and echo back through generations to when the first wolf and witch stood before each other in the deep forests and the deep magics. All around him the other hunters step forward, their families rushing to meet them, voices raises in a song of triumph and full stores and no more hunger. โI told you I would,โ Jeongguk grins, feeling more alive than he ever has. The feeling doesnโt fade as the pack swarms back into the village streets, the air almost festive as they parade their hunters home. After months and months of barely scraping by, tonight the wolves relief is palpable, and at the center of it all is Jimin, who still glows with starlight, pups at his feet and clinging to his robes because theyโve never seen anything like the witch before. Our witch, Jeongguk thinks proudly. My witch, his wolf replies.

A teaser for my upcoming fic TROUBLE. Text reads: Jimin waits a few seconds before following Jungkook to the back of the store. It's much less crowded here, fewer students taking classes in Spirit Relations. On silent feet, he rounds Jungkook's side, only to see him vanish a bright red wallet into thin air, the fingers of one hand twirling. Suddenly Jimin thinks he understands what just happened. "You bad boy," he says, and Jungkook jumps, crumpling the stolen cash in his other hand and stuffing it into his pocket. His eyes are wide with fright. Jimin smirks. "Did you think no one was watching?" "Wh- What are you talking about?" Jungkook asks, turning to the shelf of books, scanning it though he doesn't take a single one down, eyes roving but not really looking. "You know exactly what I'm talking about." "You're speaking in riddles." Jimin lets out an amused breath, then takes down two copies of Monster Bargaining 101, pressing one firmly to Jungkook's chest. "Are you hurting for cash, Jungkook?"
Second part of the teaser for my fic TROUBLE. Text reads: Jungkook's hand comes up defensively, obviously intending to take the book and surprised when, instead, their fingers touch. He freezes. Feeling him like this has Jimin's heart racing again. He swallows the sudden excitement accompanied by nerves. "You can trust me," Jimin says, licking his lower lip when Jungkook looks at him. "I promise I won't tell." Jungkook doesn't answer his questions, nor does he respond to Jimin's statements. He just tugs the book to his side, forcing Jimin to lower his hand. "Thanks for finding the book." Jimin raises an eyebrow. He wants to pry some more. Every time he talks to Jungkook, he has a million more questions than before, but he swallows each and every one of them. Best not to push him away when they're just becoming friends. So he says, "It's fine. You can talk to me when you're ready." And then he drops the matter, turning back to his list. He's pretty sure, even as he walks away to go textbook hunting, that Jungkook is watching him. One day, Jimin will know everything going on in that pretty little mind.
