Christmas, but you’re still processing 2020
@thefreckledfeather
I’m a Zimbabwean-born artist currently living in upstate NY. I have a print-on-demand store (tiny.cc/thefreckledfeather) and I also sell jewelry that I make by hand. Feel free to reach out with commission ideas and special requests too!
Christmas, but you’re still processing 2020
It’s beginning to look a lot like seasonal depression
When you ask for ‘holiday decor’ but Wednesday Addams is the store manager 😂
(This is a COLOR photo I took at my local Michael’s yesterday).
Any other fun caption ideas?
The image shows a woman wearing a blue t-shirt. On the front of the blue shirt are two blue footed boobies facing each other.
A little bit of cheeky fun with my latest design 😜

This is a drawing of a barn owl that was done in Procreate with an Apple Pencil. It has the look and feel of a pastel drawing and is done in a realistic style.
It’s been a while since I last posted as I have been having problems with my eyes. But I managed to paint this little fella - slowly and over many days - in Procreate. I hope you like him.

A colorful little design for you today, inspired by a recent trip to the Yorkshire Dales.
A watercolor painting of an exhausted but content Easter Bunny relaxing in an arm chair with his eyes closed and a cigar dangling from his mouth. The Easter Bunny is wearing an (orange) suit and tie.
Happy Easter Everyone xx

This is absolutely exquisite
Sure is…
Oh no! How frustrating. I hope you manage to figure out how to get them back…
They are digital brushes that have a very real watercolor feel. I purchased them separately for use with Procreate. I highly recommend them if you’re after a realistic watercolor look.
Right? Got a group of them coming round this afternoon. Good excuse for crumpets.
Lesser Snostrich (Gastropoda Struthio) Head and body 5 feet; shell 4 feet. Feathered foot, long neck, conch and calcium carbonate shell. Whirl size increases as Snostrich ages. Sounds: a variety of chirps, hisses, growls and honks. Behavior: although mostly solitary animals, snostriches will gather in large groups for high tea at around 4pm daily. If entertaining a group of snostrich in your own home be sure to have plenty of Earl Gray Tea on hand, and a good supply of mini cucumber sandwiches. Crumpets are also a good option.
Today I give you… The Lesser Snostrich
