There almost zero Alejandro Oms cards on eBay. He was a legend. Very under appreciated.
Which year Bowman do you like better?
1950 with the more wide scale backgrounds.
1951 with the name plates.
1952 with faux signatures.
I like 1951 best. They are the right size/proportion in hand and the name is easy to read.
Looking for some advise. Does anybody have any experience with these Historic Autograph booklets? Is $80 a reasonable offer from $95? Is it worth it? This is higher than my usual range.

On many of the other cards I have made satirical fun of/with when my lowly skills and wobbly hands lacked. Roy is high above this juvenile treatment, so I will be patient for the day when the art spirit arrives and takes over.
In my quest to draw the complete 1949 Bowman set, I have stalled out at #84 Roy Campanella. He is too great and too powerful for my lowly art skills, and not worthy of my messing him up. I have not thought of any ideas to make a card of him yet, and so I sit and ponder his great image.

I really enjoyed morning baseball today. Korea vs Australia. Listening to tv broadcast on radio is imperfect but it was fun. Tense 7-2 game.
