I think one of the biggest issues is Dem politicians are book smart. But they are real world dumb. It leads to takes like this as opposed to “we need higher wages but before we do that every member of the Trump admin needs to be in prison.”

I feel you. Until recently we had three pups. Two were quite elderly. Somehow I am the only one that notices they need to get up and outside. I have not had a normal sleep in years. Now the remaining pup is getting up there and needs to go more frequently at night.

San Diego’s weather is usually great. Summers have gotten warmer. And they aren’t super set up for that weather. Not like LA. We had a bunch of dogs and so we found a place that let you take unlimited pets there. We went all the time for a while.

San Diego and Santa Barbara.

I have mixed feelings about SoCal. California is an AMAZING state. Redwoods, ocean, lakes, rivers, mountains, dessert, national parks. Diversity. Food amazing. SoCal can be crowded and traffic is not great. Public transport - soso. But LB would be in my top three SoCal spots/#1 LA County.

Been thinking about this. Liberals must reflect on what roles they will take in society going forward. We generally shy away from law enforcement/military - I think that’s a mistake in so many ways. If fascism has a 30-100 year itch, we can’t leave these professions to just fascism fetishists.

For Long Beach - I would visit and just drive around. SoCal can have blocks of calmness and blocks of not as calm. I’m being vague with“calm” because we all have our own perceptions. But man, Long Beach would be a fun place to raise a family if you’re in SoCal.

Why do they all talk this way? Like capitalizing a made up term still makes it - made up. Some contrarian piece of shit with a PhD coins a shit term with no basis in science or reality and they all dawn their tactical posting fingers to spread it every where.

This is important. It’s important to do when they are young and even now. I watch people I know who dump fears and anxiety on their children and all they do is create scared, anxious kids.

And just to clarify - they often get more for their clients too. When it’s a knockdown, drag out fight - everyone likely loses a bit. They spend more. They face more stress. And results are never guaranteed.

I get so much more for my clients because of my relationships with other counsel. And my job is much more pleasant.
