Let's just get to the playoffs so I can watch Spurs v. Thunder and Boston v. Detroit.

There is one way the NBA redeems the atrocity of this 83 point game. Every team goes "90s era Pistons" on the Bam and the Heat for the rest of the season. Also, everyone who plays the Wizards just goes for 100 with their best player. Lost a lot of respect for Bam and Spo and company last night.
I mean... I don't even want to share this. Just a heads up, but you can kind of tell where it goes from the thumbnail. It's outrageous: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3t6b...
I did not. Seems an odd choice for a commercial.... but... car commercials do seem to have some of the oddest picks some times. More than once I've seen a commercial come on and it will strike a chord and I'm like "Wait a minute. This is for a car isn't it."... and sure enough! :D
First crack at Battletech: Aces today. Jumped into a friendβs campaign. Lots of fun. Going to fire up my own campaign soon. Thereβs a whole ton of game between the Alpha Strike and Aces boxes. Hard to beat that value.
Thank you. Painting four different models was definitely fun with the little bits of trim etc... I would not enjoy doing an army I don't think. Maybe.
Thank you! Ya those early ones Iβm not ashamed to sayβ¦ hideous! Gotta start somewhere though.
First time painting Lumineth. Enjoyed the change of pace from the other Darkwater minis.

Shame on GAMA for once again not including designers in their "Excellence in Game Design" award announcement.
Last year they promised that this would be corrected in 2026, but again designers are not given the recognition they deserve.
The omission is no longer an oversight. It is a GAMA policy.
Oh forgot about that one. I never got around to trying it.
My friends have been raving about the new Battletech: Aces system. Going to jump into the campaign with them in a couple of weeks. Prepped the models and read the rules to Alpha Strike. Still gotta read Aces. But, they have been very enthusiastic about it. Bounced off Classic. Hope this goes better.
I love it in dungeon crawls. Ideally it should be something like D3+3 vs D6. But, gauging distance for a lunge or your opponent's ability to reach you is well-handled by roll and move. Speed is only constant when you move in a straight line and only for a short period of time.
Woof, this is potentially pretty huge: www.reuters.com/legal/govern...
"Nokosu Dice" This trick-taking gem from Japan is constantly going in and out of print. I saw some copies are floating around again so figured it was worth sharing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzhB...

Iβm so sick of the toxic players in this hobby. I only needed like eight more turns.
What other board games deserve to be in the Olympics? We really enjoy this when we can stay awake. Appreciate that they cut to scoring rounds during prime time coverageβ¦. ala the Highlights series of games from Mike Fitzgerald and Eagle Gryphon. Thereβs gotta be a design in here somewhere.
A piece of paper showing a 4x4 grid mostly filled with drawings of buildings. Next to the grid are building names next to polyomino shapes with squares of different colors.
I make games because I love every step of the processβthe initial idea, the scrappy first prototype, the first playtest filled with glee and failure and hope.
Hereβs my scrappy first prototype of Tiny Towns. [1/6]
That's one I've not played, but wanted to.
I have no affiliation or stake in this project, other than I'm a backer myself and the Sadler Bros. make great games... and (in my opinion) got royally screwed by the folks at Blacklist. I am over-the-moon excited for this project. Have a look. gamefound.com/en/projects/...
Eating a bit of crow here. This the most competitive all star Sunday in decades.
If he executed all of these dunks link this last night, he would have been the first person to get all 50s in the dunk contest. www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8bC...
Ya. I have it in my mind to watch it again at some point. I definitely could appreciate certain aspects of the production (and the main character's acting), but the main issue for me was certain disjointed parts took away from it's coherence. (Again, I should give it another go). See what I missed.
I don't want to hear nothing about the players. Give the winners $1 million for winning the dunk contest and some kind of cash for winning the game on Sunday. You can't just ask people to care when the whole media ecosystem won't STFU about "rings".
