Yeah. At least minivans get better gas mileage than a lot of similar size SUVs.

What’s maddening is that minivans, crossover vehicles and suvs are all considered “light trucks” for emissions purposes and therefore don’t have to meet the same fuel mileage efficiency or emissions rules as a sedan.

I drive a twelve passenger van and an 8 seat minivan because I have a lot of kids. Once they start moving out it’s EVs or subcompacts for me. But until then can I please have >$3 gas? Plz.

But in a lot of places the trade off of morning sun to evening sun is not worth it.

For me I just want a sunset after 4pm in the mid-winter.

8 am sunrise to 458 pm sunset is so much better than 7 am sunrise to 3:58 pm sunset.

The thing is it really wouldn’t make sense in a lot of places.

I do think it makes a lot of sense for Washington (and Southern BC tbh) because of where we are situated in our time zone and the fact that mid winter sunset it so dang early here.

I get it in some places permanent DST would not be ideal. It is here in the PNW. Just let us adopt it here okay.

We have one (that I know of) set of step like this where I live. The road just turns to steps and then back to a road. I’ll have to get a picture of them sometime.
