excited for alabasta. be interesting to see how long alabasta takes. idk i just don't think it'll take a whole 8 episodes

i got some collab characters in sonic dash like angry birds which i thought was cool. but because it was device specific i no longer have them and i think that's sad. so i haven't played sonic dash in like over a decade now

a real prideful individual will meet the call of the competitive one. they'd obsess & train for a rematch, a loss motivates them

the wounded ego will try to segregate/sabotage. guaranteeing their win by default. sure they have talent, and they may accept a loss. but only to the right type of person

i still think the competitive & prideful duo is one of my favorites & is very under utilized

but the wounded ego blinded by misogyny or some other kinda hate is uhhh not really fun. that's just sad and embarrassing. that does make for a fun villain to root against but that's about it

my sister's birthday is march 8th which is international women's day

so she might just be the definitive woman

that said i do wanna play sakura wars. after all the other project x zone games i'm playing... (it's okay, sakura wars 3 fan translation is still being worked on, and 4 isn't even being worked on yet! i have time!)

i've been saying that when kenzan fan translation finishes i was gonna replay the series in release order and pick up all the games i didn't play (which is just the ps2 ones & fist of the north star, and now kiwami 3 i guess)

but i'm kinda losing interest in doing that

imagine if @wayforward.bsky.social got with @fabraz.bsky.social and made shantae & the demon towers

or @sega-west.bsky.social & @capcomusa.com make blur bomber more than just an archie comic & a smash bros team

project x zone got me to try god eater, dead rising, & .hack//. it got me more interested in trying fighting vipers than sonic the fighters having honey ever could

there's a lot more in pxz i wanna try but you get the point!

i wish more crossover games like project x zone existed

i realize there's a lot of licensing & red tape, and publishers are not too keen on the idea unless it's a party game

but the problem with party games is that like, marvel vs capcom & smash bros never got me interested in shit, i'm sorry!

i tried .hack// again and i realized i was very stupid. i thought black rose was unavailable after she logged out the last time i tried to play

i thought the game was brutally unfair and required giga grinding cause i was playing solo and dying

no she's there and the game is actually fairly easy

pcsx2 is not the first emulator i've had this happen in, and yet once again i don't think that it would be a default cause literally why would you???

that seems like a hotkey you would go out of your way to set so you know what not to do by mistake

formally requesting all emulator communities to not have a default hotkey set for "shut down the emulator"

so no one ever has to lose a bunch of progress in a game because they hit the center of a dualshock 4 touchpad which triggered "start + select"

noooo i'm not salty about that 🙃

sorry that time doesn't work for me, my friends skip school around then. i'm free after school tho!

on one hand, i hate that whoever does it ends up naturally better making it an unfun experience to try & play with friends who didn't play the game like that

on the other hand, i like unlocking characters and it's a fun process. and you just don't get that kinda depth in single player games really

i just think it's fucked up that the very next yakuza game after i played all of them is a remake that changes the ending & forces the timeline in a different direction

and so now i have to sit here wondering if the main timeline id been investing so much time into is now dead in the water
