Reflecting on 2025, it's the most in touch I've ever been with pixel art by keeping consistent quality work, and with the game that got me to start spriting, Superstar Saga.
I'm part of the bros' rip history now, and my Cape Mario and Luigi sheet helped a lot. Happy New Year

Finished all cups and Mission Mode in Mario Kart DS recently, getting hit by 5 blue shells and 4 in the same lap in 1 race is a highlight but other than that it's fun, snaking's cool

Since finishing Cape Mario and Luigi's sprite sheet, I've been thinking how I could make other power ups look in the Superstar Saga style using the same idle/stand poses to start.
Volume 1 covers some flowers and Mario 3 power ups.
One day I decided to try playing the minigame Wanted! Averaging 500 levels every hour cause I got to level 1000 in the second hour so safe to say I'm good at finding Luigi. Felt like some levels were repeated
I want to see here is that I am very, very thankful and grateful for a lot that's happened over the course of me learning to make sprites independently, there's so many people here and around the internet that have given me inspiration to make a lot of what I like.
Today marks 5 years since starting my journey into learning pixel art, all starting with Mario and Luigi. This is a remake of my very first idea I had in mind to make all the way back then to show how far I've come from that point and how far I can probably still go.
