Ok so my take is that David Harbour playing a character that is objectively humiliating (and also dies) right after the Lily Allen album is great PR strategy that he simply doesn’t deserve. Whoever is responsible for this, please use your talents for good instead!

I think it goes to show just how much this sort of reporting gets buried by *tHe AlGoRiThMs,* and when I think too hard about that, I want to walk into the sea.
When this story published, I did the thing where you send it out to people who might be interested. A man I consider smart and well read observed that abortion as a subject in journalism has “fallen off the radar a bit,” and I can’t stop thinking about that comment.

So despite the ICE abduction this morning, Columbia didn’t take any steps to cancel classes or move them remote. No idea how noncitizen community members are supposed to feel safe showing up to study or work today.
It is absolutely disgusting, morally depraved behavior for ANY doctor to “medically clear” ANYONE for deportation. This isn’t difficult to understand.
Does anyone else relate to the feeling of wanting to crawl into a live TV commercial - particularly the living rooms - and just exist there in a liminal state, like some kind of sensory deprivation tank?
