Thanks for responding! It is really important context to omit, regardless of Target reporting it as why sales are down. To quote the piece “Shoppers made fewer trips to Target in the most recent quarter, with traffic down 2.9%.” This happened with nationwide protests of Target. Seems relevant.

Hey @startribune.com and @carzharts.bsky.social - why aren’t the boycotts of Target mentioned? Being boycotted for abandoning DEI AND compliance with ICE is absolutely one of the reasons behind their lost revenue. Shocking it’s left out here???

I went through and added up the total paid rents through our adopt-a-rent program, and it is 329 families for $463,217. All peer-to-peer, no fundraising. Just neighbors helping each other out.

For what it’s worth, as a union leader, I definitely associate the fist with the struggle of the people, and have used it so much in the past two months to show solidarity with neighbors in THIS fight.
