DEFRA has been questioned sbout an imminent animal welfare issue due to its apparent failure to negotiate the visas for about 75 Australian and New Zealander shearers who usually come to help with UK shearing.
It's estimated that 1.5 million sheep will have no one to shear them.

Early Iran strikes cost $5.6 billion in munitions, Pentagon estimates The figure, accounting for the war’s first two days, is likely to intensify concerns in Congress that U.S. forces are churning through a scarce supply of advanced weaponry.

The Pentagon calculated it was spending $1 billion a day on Trump and Netanyahu’s war. The truth? It was $3 billion…and that’s just for munitions.

Plus they’ve alarmed everyone by burning through scarce munitions in a matter of days.

Don't waste yoghurt on Farage when he comes home. The water companies have a plentiful supply of ordure to use instead.

Thoughts on the news at 10:30:
When Trump says what he'll do next and to whom I hear the first line of a song in my head, "If I ruled the world...". He really thinks he could.
The War is exposing just how oil-dependent so many are. Maybe they'll do something about that?
And Badenoch is very stupid.

The descendents of some bad peopke, like slave traders, may be asked to pay reparations for their crimes.
Can the victims' descendants be sure that they aren't also descended from equally bad people?

Westminster Hall debate - What's on - UK Parliament e-petition 751839 relating to the clinical trial into puberty blockers

The hormone issue is due to be debated in The House of Commons today in response to an e-petition calling for the puberty blockers trial to be stopped.
A trial isn't necessary. The effects are known.

NHS England pauses new prescriptions of cross-sex hormones for under-18s The health service said young people who already receive the drugs will continue to do so.

NHS England has been slow to act on supplying teenagers with cross-sex hormones. Young people who've already had them could supply all the evidence needed of the harm they do.
While trans activists threaten legal actions, it's likely that more recipients could sue for damages.

UK must stockpile food in readiness for climate shocks or war, expert warns Prof Tim Lang says country produces far less food than it needs to feed population and is particularly vulnerable

β€˜The nine big retailers account for 94.5% of all retail food. That’s nine companies, using just 131 distribution centres. In drone war, that’s a sitting duck.’

Should have added that some people grow up into decent members of society despite their parents.

In other species, particularly mammals, individuals who go rogue may be ostracised, ignored or killed, to ensure the survival of the family group.
Unfortunately, human society is more complex. Some seem to be born with personality disorders, and not all parents know how to train good behaviour.

The words evil and wicked, the latter derived from witch, tend to be associated with religion, or religious values, yet some religions encourage them.
As an independent humanist, I tend to regard people who may be described this way as sociopathic or psychopathic. They're incapable of redemption.

Feelings about being wrong or right may change with experience and maturity, as do other feelings.

The Green Party has committed Β£540,000 of its members' money to fighting its own women in court.

Not on climate policy. Not on housing. On silencing women who state biological facts.

The Green Women's Declaration has formally begun legal proceedings for discrimination under the Equality Act 2010.

And only a minority of those who claim to be trans have had any sort of pharmaceutical or surgical treatment. They're physically unaltered. That's thanks to the social contagion that the interview didn't have time to cover.
I know you know this, but many don't.
Thanks for sharing the video.

Many of the men who claim to be trans are sexual perverts. When I was on Twitter I came across videos of them masturbating in women's loos, etc. A higher proportion of male trans prisoners are in for sex offences than in the general male prison population.

The people who are fixated on their appearance and even on having what they see as their imperfections removed are also described as having Body Dysmotphia Disorder, and aren't necessary happier after plastic surgery, but may continue to have it.

I'd agree, and she's very good.
Just a few points:
I'd question the idea that Harry Benjamin, John Money, et al, were experts. They were theorisers, with crap theories. A contemporary explains why:
