The thing they don’t realize is that people get their negative views from their bank accounts and gas prices in their towns, not the media.

Because their personal portfolios were exposed to the securities that would take a hit if the market thought the war would last a long time.

Of course. They’re branding, not governing. I wouldn’t include Miller in that though. He‘s a true believing fascist who wants the world to go up in flames.

Most of the Trumpies are clowns and performative sycophants on either a grift or a personal branding adventure. But a few are seriously dangerous true believers, like Miller and Vought. Carr’s one of them.

At what point do chatbots become more expensive than hiring a million adults to be on the other end of the prompt writing responses, like 1-900 phone sex.

Yep. Same principle whereby people tend to hate health insurance lawyers and the people who answer the phones, rather than the executives who actually make company policy.

Yes and it’s not like the Iranian regime hasn’t had decades to plan for this.

The Trump Administration is just a bunch of conservative influencers, podcasters, and vibe captains. They don’t “believe” they’re winning, or not winning, in Iran. They only care about their online and on-air brands.

Look some of them up. They’re very progressive and fighters all. I bet you don’t know any of their names except Biss, who is one of the most aggressively progressive mayors in the country.

“The worst atrocities ever perpetrated”? Really now? You might want to find those meds again.

The victims of the Muslim conquests in the 700’s would disagree, but OK.

How do you suggest the daycare students at a Detroit synagogue were buying bombs for the IDF? You’re full of shit like everyone in your little Gaza-obsessed cult.

I’m not sure you’re gonna ever do any better tbh.

How do you know they’re innocent?

14.03.2026 01:15 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

Depends what you do with it. If you use that capability to commit conspiracy to murder, I’d say yes.

If they had they wouldn’t have been “betrayed,” technically speaking.

That‘s what the felony is called formally.

The accusation was the tire slashing was done to draw the officer out so he could be shot by an accomplice.

They communicated beforehand, which was part of the case. My point is, the story is NOT “protestors righteously holding signs convicted of terrorism.” It’s conspiracy to attempted murder. If you’d like to say it isn’t right, go for it, I might agree. But don’t tell us it’s something it‘s not.

If they committed conspiracy to attempted murder of a peace officer it’s not unjust.

Then no country, or hell even city, is.

14.03.2026 00:14 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

They weren’t, but a big part of the case was messages they exchanged with each other beforehand.

These “protestors” were accused of setting up police officers to be ambushed by an accomplice with a rifle. The case was not about just a “protest.” Read the damn article first.

Dimes still exist?

13.03.2026 23:37 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

Lol maybe it wasn't the tire slashing but the shooting a rifle at a police officer that did the trick.

Yeah a fair number of Bocas vote R for mayor but D for federal races. It's not uncommon. Where I live tends to be the inverse. So in Boca terms this is an overperformance for Dems. The sitting (R) mayor won unopposed last time, and got 80 something percent the time before.

I literally said I don't know if it's true. I may even tend to doubt it. But that's what they argued, and if it is true it's a correct outcome.

Municipal politics is very different from federal politics. No Dem had won the mayor's race in 30 years.

The prosecution said the "protest" was set up to get police officers out in the open so the shooter could ambush them, and presented messages the protesters exchanged beforehand with the shooter as evidence. I have no idea if it's the case or not.

Please report the story's facts: They were not just "protesting." They were certainly doing that, but also vandalizing and slashing tires, before one of the "protestors" fired a shot and hit a police officer.
