I love the idea of a recumbent trike (I have balance issues and a hard time riding a standard bike anymore) but transport logistics are a bit complicated and I wouldn’t feel safe on city streets on one.
It's December. The goal is to find MELIA a home for Christmas. We can do this. Over 810 days waiting. Poor baby. A quiet adult only home, no dogs, cats are ok. 3.5 years old, around 50 lbs. Come on New York!

Unpleasant realization about my writing today: when I write lately, I write until the character needs to take action, and I stop.
Just thinking about it makes me tense. Thinking about adding the next sentence with the action makes me tense.
Neither of these things inspires forward motion.

Our regional big ice cream company (Turkey Hill) was giving away free scoops of Moose Tracks across the street from my office at lunchtime today, so I had ice cream at lunch, for charity (scoops given away were tied to corporate donations to the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay)

I was fourteen when it happened and remember hearing about it on the news (NPR). I have never forgotten about it, but if I hadn’t heard that news story, I don’t know if I would have gotten the information otherwise (certainly didn’t come up in school).
