Ember now builds on Vite by default (has worked for some time actually).
I am truly amazed by the ability of Ember, even being old, less popular and less sponsored, to keep reinventing itself in a good way: providing strong backwards compatibility and a clear path forward without stagnating in time.

We just merged a 3000 files / 75k lines of code PR in our 2017 @emberjs.com app that moved us from .ts + .hbs => .gts
This would have never been possible without @embroider/template-tag-codemod and the work from the great @chris.manson.ie and other great members of the Ember.js community!

There was not enough time to talk about Glint V2, but there's been a lot of momentum in the past weeks! @amatchneer.com and others made great progress! You can now use the 'unstable' @glint/core and the prerelease 1.4.3 of its VSCode ext 'typed-ember.glint-vscode' to gain a lot of speed and DX!
@eaf4.com showed us how to use @embroider/template-tag-codemod to migrate your codebase to .gjs/.gts, which is the new and awesome format for Ember.js files. This codemod has a 'merge-history' feature that makes sure 'GJS files inherit correctly from both the JS and HBS'. Be sure to check this out!
@nickschot.bsky.social gave a talk about ECM to ember-mirage migration, and this morning, our codebase has almost finalized its transition 🍾! This migration is required if you want to use the new build system based on the great Vite we all want and wait for!
