Happy birthday to Rick Sternbach, production designer/illustrator for Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager. Chances are that if you love a Star Trek ship, he was one of the designers on it (as well as the PADD and the DS9 space station).
