There are a couple pipelines - one from Persian Gulf oil fields to the Red Sea (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East%E2...) and another to the Mediterranean. But they already are carrying oil. Would it be worth it to build a pipeline to sit empty waiting for a crisis?
