like what if when you came out, your best options for help weren't just a cis therapist and your 22 year old friend on discord who got on hrt a year ago. what if there were women in their 40s, 50s, 60s you could talk to about everything? who could mother you through the experience?

/srs for a sec, i think one reason trans women can latch so hard onto things like blahaj and programmer socks and shit is because we Dont really have much of a shared culture or history, which afaik isnt really the case for many other marginalized groups 🧵
