#BearTips Did you know? On macOS you don’t need to open the app to create a new note.
Right-click the Bear icon in the Dock and choose New Note to open a fresh note in Bear. 😉

#BearTips Press ⌘K to turn any URL into a titled link and choose how it appears in your note.

💡Bonus tip: On macOS, if you already copied a link, Bear will automatically drop it into the panel for you.😉

You can set your own default tags for the Web Clipper in Browser extension Settings. These can be existing tags or new ones, totally up to you! The "Ask for Tags" option is a separate feature that makes the Web Clipper prompt you for tags each time you clip something.

Can’t remember if it was in a note, a PDF, or a screenshot?
Doesn’t matter, Bear can find it. 🔍
