They are a great place to start if you ever want to try out a kit! 30 Minute Fantasy does the bionicle knights and such and 30 Minute Missions is the sci-fi version for mecha/more traditional robot stuff.
Yes! And kindaaa? Nen is either cursed and in crazy denial or (in her opinion) just faking it because ultimately the Flayed Ones are the least awful option available. Reposting their lore dump but they've been terrible coworkers through a couple lifetimes now. π
That's a perfect way to describe them!πThey're really charming little action figures with fun range of motion. The 'evil' faction get fun little skull faces under their armor and I think they're cute... They got me back into building stuff after years lol.
grey digital drawing of a humanoid beast named Zhivakron. they are holding a massive spiked mace that's dragging down. they have 3 long and thin wings asymmetrically coming out of their back. pink energy is coming from the bottom of the mace upwards, and the many piercings Zhivra has reflect the pink back.

The whole 30 Minute Fantasy line from Bandai is so fun it makes me crazy. The fact they're pretty cheap/have exchangeable parts/don't require any glue makes them sooo dangerous, I could make one of these guys every day for the rest of my life ;;
I KNOW I DON'T NEED MORE PLASTIC BUT.......... digitigrade legs and claw-hands for my Liber............... the whole 30M line is stupid fun and easy to make I want all of them sob.
Only annoyance with the flayers was piece 45 which was the bent claw. It's a super long, thin piece that it looks like it was mashed against the cardboard of the box at some point. Barely noticeable and close enough to the tip to pass for intentional curve though, so nbd.
they are perfectly portioned for lil sippies
followed by an immediate trip to the hospital
I need to look at paints at some point. Holy hell has that market exploded since I last touched it. Will cross that bridge after car is well again, have proper primer coming for now.
Liber may end up getting converted to an OC depending how patient I get with resculpting. Realizing I can manifest my personal blorbos in many ways... and the 30MF kits have extremely fun joints. Also relatively cheap if I beef it lol.
Ruby needs additional polish on clear pieces and then either gray or maaaaybe red for edging? I'd lazy marker her with black but she is my Special Angel kit...
Flayers need final clean up. Tamiya inbound for assembly. Most annoying sprues were the body pieces which were thicker and nestled in some odd curves but got em pretty clean.
Project thread for myselfffff plastic guys edition.
I lack organizers so flayers live in shot glasses for now. Test tube children.
Ruby Eye needs edging.
Liber Wizard WAS going to get edged BUT its hood is perfect for a potential conversion...

Oooh hell yeah. Even when he's not around Zahndrekh manages to throw Obyron for a loop... better play it cool big guy!!
You only see the coaleon's teeth glowing in the dark. From cracks in its gums and claws, acid drools slowly, thick as resin, dripping in steady beads that never dry. Females are smaller, leaner and meaner. They always hunt together.

Still coming:
Obyron - From Quebec... L'Obyron...
Deathmarks & Imotekh - From Ontario
Metal Flayers - Indiana, US
Somehow despite shipping from within my own country, an action figure ordered from France the same day is due to arrive first. Canada Post shooting itself in the foot as always.
Oh that's so smart THANK YOU...
It's the 'slightly less likely to annihilate your fingers' option but I've always just used some kind of knife lmao the exacto is working great for getting into tiny bits for these guys so far
Working on the first one now and I can see where there'd be issues. They've got a lot of little pokey details and very fine attachment points, but the actual fit of the pieces seems good! I'm holding off on gluing until my Tamiya arrives but I think the main issue is just how delicate they are.
I do love that they suggest a mouldline tool as if this clean-up isn't going to be 100% between me, my exacto, and my pathological hand-tremor.
One claw a little bent out of the box but easy enough to realign.
Goose has already threatened to start eating them, which is understandable. They are so wee π«
The first of my plastic children have arrived π
These are the only that need full assembly but hhhhh their tiny little claws............ moe...
Ty!! I have a lot of fun trying to make it look weird and pokey π«
Ty!! It needed zygodactyl stompers for pouncin on treats...
their size difference π€
Yes! Technically a tile from the cryptek Bhenu used to be assigned to/stalk professionally, now it's just sentimental ornamentation πΆβπ«οΈ
