Broadway Junction is undergoing the biggest ADA upgrade in the system right now: a new entrance, three escalator replacements, and seven new elevators.

There are still service changes across the subway, bus, @mtalirr.bsky.social, @mtametronorth.bsky.social, and Access-A-Ride, and it may be safer to stay home. Avoid unnecessary travel if possible. If you do travel, check service status before you go in the MTA app, the TrainTime app, or at mta.info.

The blizzard may be slowing down, but we havenβt taken a snow day. Our crews have been out since yesterday clearing platforms, deploying de-icers, and ensuring that our trains and buses can travel safely during the storm.

LIRR service will remain suspended until weather conditions allow for a safe resumption of operations, enabling our crews to focus on snow removal, third-rail deicing, and other essential work.

LIRR service will be suspended systemwide by 1:00 AM because of the winter storm. Last trains on most branches will leave between 11:00 and 11:30 PM.
The Port Washington, Port Jefferson, and Babylon branches will operate hourly starting at 7:00 PM.
Customers are strongly advised to avoid travel.
