It's not like Wes also introduced a restructure to bring direct the accountability back into the department and thus the minister rather than a quango, oh, hang on, I'm just checking my notes

I mean I don't think it's like ombudsman worthy but weird to decide the personality of your brand should be "that catty bitchy person who thinks insulting is the highest form of wit but is actually insufferable and rude who would get slapped in the face if they said it to a stranger"
"Tough sell to a guy from Belfast" β οΈ
There's a weird culture where people seem to want to demonstrably show they 'called' things being a flop to show how smart they are and will it into existence. I'd like there to be a big injection of cash into TV sketch and talented people get a huge opportunity, but that doesn't get dem cliiiicks
Also all the garbage of 'oh clearly trans people just need to be told it's fine to be gay' yeah I think young people have well decided being gay or bi is an option for them if they want to from those numbers, they're not holding back
If the generator itself isn't, no idea, the copy on the site certainly is - scroll down on any of them and there's such a long SEO-gaming explanation of each design that would be a waste of a person's time to write.

Just spitballing, I wonder if STV also throws a spanner in the works - they might split their ads differently and not 'skip' the same break and whatever the hell how the shared content rights work now
...not that it's not even weirder when we had that montage of edited out awards
I'll defer to your internal knowledge. I know I've seen it on like, the pre-main-Saturday-night show that most ads were trails but would need to confirm about 100%. Weird for the Brits programming to not just fill the gap - you're right on that.
There's some rules around maximum number of ad minutes across primetime - ITV sometimes have entire shows without ads in the breaks to save them for bigger ones shows. So they might be bumping the ads around for longer breaks earlier. It's a bit weird but I can't remember the details.
A squeezy-honey bear bottle with the Brit Awards logo on the label
just off to tesco to pick up some bits for the brits anyone want anything? xx
When my partner can't remember Calvin's name she does go to me "Who is it, you know, it's fucking Jam TV"
who do you think who is the best songwriter of 2025, writing many songs in 2025 dumper
Well done for ITV deciding to bleep Free Palestine, but also, doing it so late that it was pointless to
Do I make jokes about Lisa Nandy because she (or her team) once recreated my news meme website style for an announcement to hide the watermark, and I'm unreasonably bitter?
Actually no I only tend to remember that after I've commented on her often-missed contributions to our sector
Always mad when it happens on clearly scripted bits of the show. As if there was no point for anyone to figure out what they could air beforehand.
Everyone wondering what politics joke ITV just muted at the Brits, but the real surprise was is that Lisa Nandy briefly remembered she's responsible for culture and showed up
It's like a cheap turntable that keeps jumping between different speeds and none of them are the right one
they heard you loved the first one so much
BROWT!!!
POMBON!!!!!
also the other one
No I hear they went with George Osborne in the end, I think he has time amongst the other roles
But it was a genuine pleasure to be a judge on this - and help make it a wonderful selection of audio creatives, diverse in their roles, work and backgrounds, and to celebrate and encourage them.
17 fantastic under-30s sat and standing in two rows holding framed certificates
Selfie of Jonathan in front of a screen saying Aiir Audio Academy 30 Under 30
Pleasure to be the person handing out the certificates for the @audioacademyuk.bsky.social @aiir.com 30 Under 30. I'm like Princess Anne at the Olympics, where you go "sure, they're there to hand it the honours apparently"
"PokΓ©mon GO events will move away from paid tickets to event GO Passes." oh that's interesting - at least it's one or the other, it feels a bit rum that the Tour this weekend has both a ticket and a Go Pass.
Oh excellent. An angle of 'is this worth bothering with' for events, without influencer-esque-hype-up-for-drama-stylings, with a realistic understanding of how things happen and the games business, absolutely right up my alley.
And we go again, the homosexuals have been given some more cocaine

Between regular, celebrity, professionals and junior I didn't think there were any spinoffs left in the franchise but the BBC has made a bold call
I've clearly been misinformed as I had the ice hockey final on and none of them were fucking?
"delete your account" is a message all MPs should take in regards to Twitter but this one especially so
Nobody check how long this week's number 1 was in the charts before reaching it, not a new 35-week record or anything
I have my issue with how streaming is in the charts but this isn't it
