Sometimes, a happy memory will enter my mind suddenly and I feel like I get stabbed in the heart with a deep sense of melancholy and longing. Something about never being able to relive that moment again. Especially when I feel like I haven't made a happy memory in a while.

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

My friends are nice. I'm grateful to have people that care about me in spite of my flaws. It's good to keep that in mind, I think. It's an easy thing to take for granted.

Will definitely watch that at some point. I actually just finished watching Synecdoche, New York. Feel like I'm gonna be thinking about that one for a while.

Just thinking about Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind again. God, that ending hits so hard.. What a fantastic movie that was.

You can tell a lot of this confusion stems from twitter where the algorithm is a sort of black box that can really screw you over for promoting or advertising yourself.. so I'm just wondering how to go about it nowadays.

When promoting a patreon as an artist on social media, what's the best way of going about that? Posting a direct link? Or something more roundabout like "link in bio/pinned"? Also is it bad practice to mention the word patreon directly?

Awesome, yeah Chimera Ant arc is the longest but I found it to have some great moments and was the most emotionally gripping point of the show for me so far. Ending is really impactful
