I may never own a 911 as an artist, but they sure are fun to look at. Especially the older models.
Is "BBC & Espresso" the creative-intellectual version of "Netflix & Chill"? Asking for a friend.
Also, proof of life - it's not a fountain pen, but I am in fact alive and still turning pens.

swirly orange and green and yellow and white resin pooling on a blue silicone mlld
Calling it a night early - at 10pm. ๐
Going to close up the shop, and let this new material colorway test ('Zest') cure in the pressure pot. (The blue is silicone mold.)
Does anyone happen to have the fabric requirements for the Legit Kits "Flamingoes" kit handy? I was trying to figure cost on it, and there isn't a complete list anywhere online.
4234123, iirc. My original AOL username I still use when I don't want anyone to ID me as me. ๐
Yes, sane is relative and subjective and doing A LOT of heavy lifting here.
LOL, it'd be unhinged for you to use one, and probably a violation of health codes. But ya tagged me and I don't get to show off MY personal pen much. ๐
I paint at night to stay sane through exceeding difficult, monotonous work during the day.
I'm a snob, this is my favorite. ๐

We have hit the detail mark stage on Boundaries.
I'd ask what you think, but y'all scare me.
working a lot, how are you doing?
oh. Mercury Retrograde in Pisces vibes *specifically.* When the depths of your subconscious speak in reverse.
Probably stories about why contacting your ex is a bad idea or comedies about miscommunications.
Working on the lathe until my hands call it quits during the day (usually cuts or skin peeling) and then it's house or yard work and then painting at night.

YAY! Woohoo!
it's not a twist, it's a pull. grab the top (NOT the clip) above the fidget band) and the bottom half below the fidget band. Pull firmly, but don't jerk
I mentioned off hand to my kiddo (20) that I didn't think I'd worked that hard today and was feeling guilty about not doing more.
They glared "bish are you insane" daggers at me and was all: YOU KNOW THATS BULLSHIT.
Have very little to show for a damn long week of hard work.
(delayed posting, apologies)
Cast done. Vat set up for the night. 3D printer running. Time to take my exceedingly boring self to bed.
I probably should go cast some pen material, too, just so I stop feeling like I am getting farther and farther behind because this plating process is so slow.
Am I? No. I'm making sure a new 3D print of (inner) components for new fountain pens gets going, and then I have to switch out my leads on the nickel plating bath.
My cat, Kali, is currently making it exceedingly clear she thinks I should be going to bed right around now.
I am at my limit for re-plating the same three pen caps. I will find a way to make it work BUT DEFINITELY SCREAMING INTO IT VOID AT THIS POINT.
And into the workshop, if I'm honest.
It's a very slow process. I know. I KNOW.
Aside, I've personally been writing with one of these feeds in my Bebe for over a year. Wouldn't go back to the stock feed, and I switched to heavy glitters on purpose.
Emerald de Chivor cleans, Wearingeul cleans when I've used them.
that's not an option I'm comfortable offering right now, just because I don't trust most people to do it properly and not mess things up, you know?
