So, yeah, the framing will fix it fetish aka magic word wand is silly. And, also, we *are* by default always using words & images to convey things. So the question isn't will we "do messaging" but rather will we do it well or badly.

Contrast this, just one example, with the winning organizing happening against data centers in local communities, which - yes I've been part of projects on it - has been aided by figuring out what we gotta say to mobilize people & inoculate against oppo "jobs" bullshit.

For generations, folks got trapped trying to prove climate change is person-made ("97 out of 100 climate scientists...) only to waste precious air (time) when we could have been talking about the corporations poisoning us for profit & how clean energy is ours for the taking.

There's no messaging without organizing. Unless you have a task for message to do - bring people together to contest for power & take on billionaires poisoning us - you can't craft let alone evaluate message.
And there's no organizing without messaging. Directing action take words & images.

When defining "moderate," the pundits counseling this approach say "taking heterodox positions that run counter to party." They ought to be thrilled when left calls out candidates for capitulation as it's simply advertising for this purportedly winning strategy.

Voter ID is already required in order to register to vote, which is its own onerous process depending on state. Many states also require it at the moment of voting. The issue is now they want folks to have IDs millions of Americans don't: passport or birth certificate.

In America, most of us believe voters should pick our leaders, but this regime wants to keep people from voting so they can control our elections & seize more power. We will decide our future, choose our leaders, & ensure the will of the people prevails. Hands Off Our Vote.

Critical to recognize that the lies extend all the way to the very name, which we should avoid repeating. "Save America Act" sounds good. Call it as it is: Voter Elimination Act.

This is why the "just don't talk about..." strategy is absolutely ridiculous. Voters are wearing headphones where, in one ear, is an unrelenting tirade about the evil of "those people" (take your pick) and in the other - silence. You're allowing the hate-o-rade to be the only thing heard.

Once more for the back: What people believe about Democrats is not made principally out of what Democrats say but rather what is said about them - especially from trusted networks.

Amazing to see folks simultaneously believe (correctly) that most voters are very low information, distrustful of politicians' claims and make their voting choices on the basis of parsing and crediting those politicians' detailed views.

When you goad people into believing that what a college student, without institutional, financial or social capital, writes on poster is bigger threat than what a regime cabinet member says from lectern, you've hacked being anti-semitic & using it as cover to silence valid dissent.

The absolute #BraveOfUs - not just having made a way out of none at all but reporting the truth at great risk to herself. America calls itself "land of the free, home of the brave," we must eliminate ICE/DHS to make it that way.

And, although I submit that the vast majority of voters are extraordinarily low info/not paying attention, every one of the remarks he has made for the entirety of his life must conform to those preferences.

A friend calls Congress the "complaint department for capitalism" and when you see so many volunteer to neuter themselves so they can keep serving the war monger lobbyists without having to officially endorse them, hard to disagree.
