A grey and white Maine Coon lying with front legs crossed with a mad/judgmental/bored/some-other-cat-emotion look on her face.
I think Sabine is a little nonplussed at me. Or is judging me, I can’t tell which.
This was a fun platinum to earn. Loved Star Trek Voyager: Into the Unknown! It was fun to follow the canon path and even more fun to mess around and see how crazy the story could get. Keeping Tuvix, redeeming Seska, splitting B’Elanna into human and Klingon form and keeping them both, all fun stuff!
My halfling bard in BG3 certainly had some interesting scenes with Karlach. Had to quickly jump to the PS5 homescreen more than once when the kids came in the room.
That's next on my list when I'm done with all my different playthroughs of the new Star Trek Voyager game. Looking forward to it for sure!
Finished Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown with as close to a canon ending as possible (somehow picked up Klingon-Torres while keeping original Torres). Time to go through it again to see what chaos I can bring with other choices. What a fun game!
Scads is a wonderful unit of measurement. And yay for productive days!
This game is so good! Wish there was more voice acting to it, but so fun to fly around and reenact or change the story. I’m a little miffed at one quest, I thought the choice I made would let me recruit Telek R’mor, but it didn’t. I’ll have to figure that out on another play through for the trophy.
We haven’t picked this one up yet, been meaning to try it. Too many games on the shelf of opportunity (shame) to get through first.
If we had a boy, we were going to go with Corran. Our two girls are Mara and Natasi. The EU had some wonderful names to choose from!
Does playing games with John Kovalic count? I guess that’s not mundane though…
There was the time in 2014 in Baltimore I almost dropped our then-3-month-old daughter on Richard Dean Anderson. Is that mundane?
Hmm I have to think….
Oh that is wonderful, thanks for sharing!
Ordered! Sadly double the cost to get it here to the US, but can’t wait!
Looking forward to a new Hobbes Goblin when 2E gets to Pathfinder!
Can’t wait to get it to the table!
Ready to go all in, whatever that is!
Have the Haden stories been optioned somewhere? Would love to see that world on the screen too.
Have you looked at eufy or reolink? Not sure if they have options that would work for you or not. I don’t think they are owned by Amazon/Google.

Schelde’s and La Senorita in Petoskey, MI.
Schelde’s had the absolute best salad bar, french onion soup, broccoli cheese soup, and sourdough bread.
La Senorita had the best chicken quesadillas and chips and salsa.
They were staples of my childhood.

Will there be a DJ Scalzi dance party at ConFusion?
Book!Amos is pretty amazing too!
While you’re at it, check out Bea Wolf too! It’s a wonderful take on the classic, our oldest loved it last year when she read it (5th grade at the time).
@muskratjohn.bsky.social This might be of interest to you!
That game was so good! Finished it a few weeks ago after Clair Obscur. Now it’s Death Stranding 2. Such an odd game, and I don’t know why it’s so fun being a delivery boy, but I just can’t put it down.
Wonderful! Woke my wife up with the laugh in the middle of the night. She was very confused, she somehow never knew the glory that was those commercials.
@scalzi.com silly question for you, just finished Head On after Lock In, wonderful read. Hope there will be more story in that world. Towards the end, I laughed out loud at the “applied directly to her forehead” line. I was waiting the whole book for that. Did you plan that reference from the start?
Owned by *a* Robin Williams?
Twisted and evil?
Yay!
