here's a short (8 page) comic about going to a con. i made this before attending one myself, but my printer didn't want to cooperate.
i wanted to explore how a world of talking animals would have something similar to a furry fandom. ended up with something much more about make-believe

A single loose curl hangs off his forehead. He has red, circular earrings, and glasses. His belt is loose, and hangs off to his side. All in all, an extremely barbie-looking guy. The inside of his coat is colored the same cyan as his eyes. Did I mention his eyes are solid cyan with black pupils? Aw man there's a lot to describe, honestly. He's got eyelashes, a white muzzle, and a pink undertone. black and red lipstick. i think that's it. help me Descriptive text around Brooke reads: BRooke! [[A logo with letters made of round, playful lines, with the "oo" having dots in them to represent eyes, looking up cutely to the top right]] -Typing software mascot -Detective Guy -Stoat -He Deals with Horrors* -Part-time Dress-Up Doll -Sometimes tall -Sometimes Small [[He's doodled near a minimally drawn human. I'm a bit rusty with new technology. [[Having long fingers is also. new to me]]" A distinctly sillier, yet-to-be-yassified version of Brooke is doodled in the bottom right. Here he's more of a bean-shaped stoat mascot with floating gloved hands. An arrow points to him, saying, "(Circa 1989)"

context for the tech friends: i forgot my hard drive at school and the movies i'm adding to my server are too big for my flashdrive (and the thing is super slow). no fear, surely it is quick and easy to transfer files from windows to kubuntu over LAN. well. you would be wrong about that apparently??
