Did Polanski KB the Graun from an interview or something? Fascinating how all their best boys are going after him now.

Daily Mail Headline: Pupils' drawings could be blasphemous under Islamic law, Labour councils tell schools - while music and dance classes may go against the teachings of Islam
Oh boy! What a headline...
Ask yourself:
"What am I being asked to believe?"
"Who am I being told to blame?"
Take a few seconds to imagine what the Daily Mail (And Telegraph, GB News and Express) WANT you to think is going on.
Let's see what's ACTUALLY happening...π§΅

Any excuse to put that turncoat wee shitebag in his place.
Drop something red
A real LinkedIn post seeking "STARFLEET ACADEMY Haters" for a paid (I assume??) writing gig. Not reviewers, "Haters." I have no interest in the show myself but this is just further proof "geek culture" needs to be burned to ashed and the ground sown with salt.
A screenshot of the BlueSky posts of @iss-piss-tracker.bsky.social showing the piss tank slowly emptying over the last 20 minutes
How do we alert the international space station that their piss tank has a slow leak? π³π°οΈπ
Trevor Phillips is on Times Radio at the moment presenting its lunchtime show and talking about the imminent release of the Mandelson files. Heβs not mentioned that Peter Mandelson has been his friend for many years and was best man at his first wedding.
Give the people what they want.
There is no viewing data available on the BBC website, or on MG Alba's. The channel's leadership refuses to list it on BARB for audience measurement despite it being a condition of their being granted a slot of Freeview.
There is currently NO accountability of a channel we pay for.
BBC Alba gets Β£15million of public funding from the Scottish Government and the BBC.
There is currently NO way of telling how many people have watched the channel regularly, or what they have watched, since it went on to Freeview 15 years ago.
The only data we have is that Alba puts out itself.
I've raised a complaint with the information commissioner as the BBC's argument is the information is covered by a defence of being kept for 'journalism, art or literature' and thus refuses any right of appeal to the decision.
The BBC has rejected my FOI request to disclose viewing figures and audience data it has on BBC Alba.
Let's be clear on this. The BBC is saying we do not have a right to know how many people watched what programmes when, on a publicly funded, PSB channel that occupies a prominent Freeview slot.
Like the eastern seaboard of the US, I was completely decimated. Sorry, devastated. Obviously.
Kay Burley - after my piece listing the various journalistic crimes of Kay Burley: from strangling a photographer to not disclosing her connections to the Lampards while grilling someone on air about them to asking a murderer's wife if it was actually her fault for not having enough sex with him.
I mean, in Campbellβs case the thing to really fear is being hit by his plate when he hurls it at you in the studio because heβs in a mood and thinks BAs and runners are acceptable targets. Odious arsehole of a man, treats junior staff like shit and - as so often with βtalentβ - gets away with it.
Exclusive Update On The 'Star Trek: Year One' Series Pitch And Status Of The 'Strange New Worlds' Sets
When we talked to the pair last September, shortly after the Skydance takeover of Paramount, they had not yet had a chance to officially pitch the show. But according to Henry, that has now happened. He confirmed to TrekMovie that they have now officially pitched Year One. "Yeah, we we've brought them a lot. We've done a lot to give to them. It's in their hands right now. They're taking a look at it, trying to decide it. I mean, there's a lot of love for our show over there, and obviously a lot of love for Star Trek." Last year, Akiva Goldsman told TrekMovie the final episode of Strange New Worlds will feature "Kirk's first day of command" of the USS Enterprise - and the showrunner noted that Kirk's first time in the big chair happened well before his first appearance in Star Trek's second pilot "Where No Man

Oh good. Theyβre now pitching to basically remake Star Trek again.
Pffft. Weβve got Deathstalker, which is basically the Aldi Conan.
Where thereβs a Will, thereβs a <redacted for legal reasons>
Just saw the scores. Fucking hellfire.
Time to update the boxset generator app
EVE being produced by a nonce, is it? Well, fuck that. Britwres really is creeping back to the bad olβ days already.
The podcasting, privately-educated, editor-shagging daughter of a baronet sniping at a social media-posting nepobaby's unearned, flaunted privilege, is it? Fuck's sake.
With This Life coming to iPlayer, I've been trying to think what missing dramas etc of that era I'd like to see on there to try and revisit.
Attachments, maybe, just to see if it's aged as badly as I suspect.
And the Mercurio double bill of Cardiac Arrest and Invasion Earth, obviously...
I am still hoping (probably against hope) Daniella Nardini being cast in the new BBC Scotland drama about young legal professionals and their lives is her returning as Anna Forbes, just for a giggle. Especially since she's the one doing the 'remembering' video for the This Life repeats, too...
Or even worse, a podcast.
Gonna laugh like a drain if this Firefly build-up is just an audio drama.
