RIP to Jesse Jackson. His funeral is today. I wanted to share this clip from his appearance on Sesame Street in 1971. His important words ring just as true today as they did back then.
The Department of Justice has sued 30 states and DC for access to their unreacted sensitive voter data. My law firm is fighting them in all 30 cases.
We are dedicating so many resources because these are the most important legal fights and the future of free and fair elections is at stake.
Reform fury as someone else wins by Our By-election Editor Tim Shipsink The losing candidate in the Gorton and Denton by-election, Matt Goodwhinge, has demanded an immediate re-run of the election on the grounds that he lost comprehensively to someone else. "It's totally unfair and rigged," said Goodwhinge. "I shouldn't be required to sit there and suck it up, just because I lost." Mr Goodwhine continued, *I can't believe that all those voters I demonised failed to back me. Especially after I was endorsed by Tommy Robinson and ten million Russian bots on X. "We have clear evidence of family voting, where people voted in order for me to stop deporting their families." Mr Badloser concluded. "I'm the victim of colour prejudice. They didn't vote for me simply because I'm not green." Reform leader Mr Farage, speaking from a sun lounger on a rock near the Chagos Islands said, "It's a tragedy that the people of Manchester won't see Matt in Westminster, but my constituents don't see me in Clacton either." Beautiful from Private Eye on the massive toddler-tantrum that Matt Goodwin and Reform are having, because they got whooped in Gorton and Denton.
Important to remember that the people most enthusiastic about bombing Iran are almost always the people most hateful towards refugees.
Global economy must not pander to “frivolous and destructive demands of the ultra-rich”.
They fund political parties, profit from socially and ecologically destructive growth.
UK example - deregulation, regressive taxation, concentration of wealth, inequalities, sewage in rivers.
We’re talking rape, abuse and trafficking & yet we’re fucking tiptoeing around about whether we could and should potentially have legislation to remove his line of succession
Get to fuck , get the cunt in jail and start the process of proper justice for all those poor girls and women
Former public prosecutor Nazir Afzal on the speed at which the police have acted on Andrew's misconduct allegations compared to the Epstein trafficking allegations:
"When the state is the alleged victim, the state moves at pace. When women are the alleged victims, the state takes its time"

Scotland’s Story
Nigel Farage says 1 million people in Britain don’t speak English. The Census says otherwise.
The number of people across these islands who do not speak English is around 190,000.
Yet again, Farage is caught lying.
I would challenge that. He’s not incompetent, he’s just not very good at ‘politicking’, and I think that’s exactly what we need right now. Less politics and more change.
Don’t be a dick
Good
No. You’re wrong. I thought you were better than this. A change in leadership and months of diverting focus from improving the UK to leadership elections is the last thing we need right now. Stop it.
Nope
As hedgehogs wake from hibernation, they need us more than ever.
Make the ‘Hedgehog Walk’ a family event, and help stop their alarming decline.

There is now, at the very least, a competition between the "respectable" ex-Tories and the street populists - like Zia Yusuf and Matt Goodwin - over who will set the tone for Reform, and who are key to its outreach to the unashamed fascist plebs. The more its ethos evolves towards that of the shire Tories and ex-military types, the more it alienates the 100,000 drunk racists who followed Tommy Robinson into Whitehall last year.
“The truth is that Reform has no long-term answers for the structural, economic and geostrategic problems Britain faces. It has been, until now, held together by hate”
It cannot fix the problems we face because it’s a symptom of those problems, not a cure.

It was 71% v 29% an hour ago so rejoiners need to work a lot harder to get it back there. Currently 62% v 38%
Where's the £350 million a year Brexiters claimed we'd gain...?
just imagine how certain outlets would have reported this, and how certain politicians would have reacted, if the bomber wasn’t white
Between seizing ballots in Georgia, trying to leverage Minnesota to turn over its sensitive voter data, and political prosecutions, the DOJ is laying the groundwork to subvert the 2026 elections. I created Democracy Docket for times like this. Help it grow by supporting it now. hubs.ly/Q03M8rql0

Denmark have clearly stated US can have as many bases there as they like, and extract as much mineral wealth as they like, they just can’t ’have it.’
Two-thirds of UK voters wrongly think immigration is rising, poll finds.
Net migration to the UK fell by more than two-thirds to a post-pandemic low in the year ending June 2025, but 67% of the people polled thought it had increased
