Yes! It pushes us to do better! I find it with friends especially because I'm proud of them and it inspires me to keep up and be on their level!

I think a lot of people feel it - it's really hard not to in spaces like streaming because numbers are the success metric behind things like affiliate and partner requirements, or brand sponsorships.

But yeah, it's 100% how we deal with it ourselves and move through it that's important!

I fear what I've said re: jealousy is going to be seen as an attack on someone specific when it's actually just my own feelings, but what can I do? I don't want to never say anything out of worry it's going to be twisted into something it's not.

All this to say it's okay to be jealous sometimes. It's how you deal with it that matters.

You can want what others have without putting them down or making them feel bad. Celebrate their wins with them and hype them up, don't make them feel like they can't be proud. I love seeing my friends hit milestones - their wins don't diminish mine or vice versa! I want them to succeed!!

LRT: I think jealousy and envy are natural emotions with streaming and creative work! Do I covet some of the success of my peers? 100%! Do I see people achieving things I want for myself? Absolutely! But that's MY issue to work through and deal with, and it's not a competition.

Honestly, the sooner you can unlearn jealousy and envy as reactions to others’ success, the better off you’ll be.

There are better ways to motivate yourself to succeed than hoping that your peers don’t.

Unfortunately not, those don't look quite right... they all look kinda like standard poses, not spicy ones like I'm looking for!
