I've found a method to get the "tablet mode" of the laptop, now I just need to be able to enable or disable the touchscreen (/dev/input/event8 on this laptop) via cli commands, & I can throw it into a systemd service to run at startup

Plus, since Linux / KDE is already detecting the event switch & knows I'm I am switching to/from touchscreen centric mode, I'm hoping that I can hook into that event & automatically trigger it, instead of needing to manually trigger it on or off.

KDE can detect when my convertible laptop is in Laptop or Tablet mode (& spaces out the icons more when I switch into tablet mode)

However, I HATE touch on Laptops, but want to be able to use to touchscreen in Tablet mode.

Anybody know how to get #KDE 6.5.5 #Wayland to conditionally disable touch?
