Found out yesterday that the pilot project I pitched for year-round, on-street bike corrals in St Paul has been 100% approved with a ribbon cutting in May to kick off Bike Month! (I’m so busy on the ground helping neighbors that I hardly had time to read the good email I got yea!)

Heads up St. Paul.

Electric bicycles, and shared electric bicycles in particular, are a revolutionary transportation technology. Forward-looking cities should be building out the infrastructure necessary to make cycling safe and convenient for everyone who wants to do it.

A guy who just purchased some beer is unlocking his bike from the gas meter outside a liquor store. Forced to lock to not a rack.

Here’s another locked up to the gas meter deal at Thomas Liquors. (Ok, I’ll stop!)

A bicycle and a scooter are locked to some random fencing downtown St. Paul, since there are no bike racks.

And another today downtown at a Commercial Corridor grant meeting. (Part of the grant $ is going to bike parking!)

How do we all become conscientious objectors to paying federal taxes that they will just use against us?! I have zero interest in supporting this dangerous chaos. Paying to support a Dept of War that is literally being aimed at civilians here?! No thanks.
